My ability to use Google on my Opera 24 account has been compromised. I cannot use Google search. Every I use search on the google box it switches to yahoo. It changes to
searchinterneat-a.akamaihd.net/s and then to yahoo search. I changed it in internet options in access control in google but that does not work. Changing it in Opera Setting to Google does not work. Its always searchinterneat-a.akamaihd.net/s and then Yahoo. How do I change it back to Google. Please write to me in American English. -

Your PC has been infected with adware.
Please have a look at the installed extensions and plug-ins at opera://extensions/ and opera://plugins/. You will likely be able to find the culprit hidden as either an extension or plug-in. You could quickly disable everything in one go, since you are able to reactivate them easily.
Should both your extensions and plug-ins be clean, right-click on the Opera shortcut that you use and choose properties. Then copy and paste the value for Target here.

Temporarily disable all of the plug-ins via opera://plugins/ (copy and paste this address to your address bar), set Google as default search engine in your settings (if not already), and see if this resolves the issue.

Which Google box? The one at www.google.com?
If so, then you should scan your computer with a good antivirus and also a antimalware like Malwarebytes.
Or are you talking about the search box in Opera's start page/speed dial?

I am sorry to hear that my suggestion has not resolved the issue that you are experiencing. At this point, I would suggest doing a full scan for malware with software at free cost. Malwarebytes is a good program to start with as suggested by leocg. (Make sure to choose and install the Free version during the installation process.)
