i have the same problem on my phone, so i stopped using opera for sing in to yahoo mail. The problem is that you cant log to yahoo mail with older versions of opera, cause yahoo redesign mail. They say its strange location i logging from, and they lock my account!

No, turbo is off... I guess the main problem is opera old version which i use (opera mini 7.5.3 for android).

Turbo (and Mini) function as proxies when web browsing. That is, the packets from your browser are not routed direct to the chosen website, but instead are routed through Opera's own servers; likewise, the returning packets from the site to your browser are also routed through Opera's servers before being sent from the servers to your browser. This allows Opera's servers to compress the returning data from the website to save you bandwidth. However, this also means that anything that filters/monitors/censors your browser traffic based on your location and that of the website will see the packets all going to/from wherever Opera's server is located, not where you or the website is actually located. Some ISPs or governments will deliberately block such proxy-type connections that they encounter because they fear forms of spamming or users end-running their censorship. Likewise, some websites just don't function well over proxy connections because of certain hand-shaking they demand, which gets interfered-with by the proxy being in the middle of the data-flow processes.
