Getting this message a lot, that Silverlight will soon not be supported in Opera on many web pages.
What will this mean for us Opera users?

Means that Silverlight videos won't work anymore with Opera. But since many browsers will drop support for Silverlight, it kinda forces sites to switch, for example html5 technology.

Afaik not even Microsoft supports it anymore.
What will this mean for us Opera users?
Chromium ha dropped support for npapi plugins and all Chromium based browsers will lost support for those plugins sooner or later.
At the moment Opera is being able to (re)enable those plugins but nodbody knows for how long.As said, once the support is fully gone, pages using those plugins will not work.
