Adding bookmarks with custom names

Adding bookmarks in Opera 12 allowed you to give it a custom name. Now you have to manually open the bookmarks folder, find the added page and then edit it afterwards. As someone who uses bookmarks extensively this is a massive downgrade from Opera 12.
Is there a way around this? -

You can also edit names from the bookmarks menu if thats a little faster.
That's what I'm saying. What did you think I meant?

he meant menu from O button -- bookmarks -- right click -- edit
not going to bookmarks manager (new tab -- bookmarks....)Opera 33 allows you to edit the page title while bookmarking it. Not sure about Opera 32.
only new folder name, but not actual bookmark... or I'm missing something?

When you click on the heart button to bookmark a page, you can click on the page's title to edit it.
That doesn't work in the current stable release as far as I can tell.
