release a stable opera mini 8 version.. and add new features in a seperate beta version.
There is a beta version, but it is hidden with limited number of users.

Any idea what might causing this "error"?
Store hickup. Reboot the device, go to Opera Mini product page and choose install/update button.

I'm very pleased with this update. works great on Lumia 530
I can finally turn off images and use it freely over gsm network, also jump to page top/bottom is awesome feature.

this version always crashes within 10-15 min of surfing.and it slow in ooening tab and setting.please update

Hello, all!
A bugfixing update was released today and is now available to download through Windows Phone Apps+Games Store.
Changes concerns fixes for most frequent crashes and a tweak to animation while creating new tab.

pl update us when we will get book mark sycronisation in opera mini it will be now 11 months that still we are away from getting book mark sycronisation atleast update us so we are happy
why is that windows opera product development team needs 11 months to give book mark sycronisation and I really dont get this we always wait that next update will be having this feature but it does not give us any smile on part of missing features ?
what the use of using browser without full features can that be told by technical team I wiould like to have atleast few lines from you to update us when we will get full working feature browser and what will be date pl update us

Opera (usually) never reveal when a feature will be added.
why is that windows opera product development team needs 11 months to give book mark sycronisation
Opera for other OSs, mobile and desktop, (also) took a lomg time to have synchronization.

- If you go to speed dial after visiting a website and then trying to load another website Opera loads the previous page again. But it loads the page which you want after it.
- Opera uses too much CPU and overheats my phone. I mean it uses more than it supposed to. Or its just my phone?

why operamini for windows does not support feeds (rss) ?? it says "Client doesn't support feeds." . when will this feature get implemented ??

opera mini for windows should update us when final product will be there now sept has come and it will be one year and still in beta phase? I feel windows team has forget to give full synchronization and working opera mini
for andriod and desktop every week new version are launched and for windows it is one year where still it is in beta ?
very strange to see how slow development is taking place I fail to understand does devloping opera mini for windows require 1 year?? can development team update us when we will see final product now windows 10 also have released so should we wait for one more year?

Nice looking browser except it doesn't work on WiFi my Lumia 930. 3G, 4G, etc works OK.
No bookmarks sync (disappointed). Rated for 1 star, since it's pretty much useless. -

on sept 14 one year will be completed and still no book mark sycronisation so such slow pace for windows really alarming when now we should expect a final version do opera team needs one year to develop a browser ??????? we need to be given book mark sycronisation now so we can use in windows phone any justified answer for final book mark sycronisation?

You realised that the final version was already released and that this topic is about it, right?
one year will be completed and still no book mark sycronisation
If you take Opera for other OSs as a basis, sync may take another year to come.

Opera has recently added a new level of compression to its Mini browser for iOS and Android. The compression level is less severe than their Extreme version, meaning that lay-out and rendering is better preserved.
Christian Uribe, Opera Mini product manager notes:
“With the rise of better smartphones and better network conditions our users now want the option to have a less aggressive data compression mode so they can experience the full internet when network conditions allow for it.” That change has not percolated to the Windows Phone version of their app yet, but it seems it will hitting the Windows Phone Store soon.
The Android version has also added a new user interface for saved pages and bookmarks, improved handling of large downloads, an overhauled tab switch, private browsing mode, customisable thumb-friendly layout scalable for different screen sizes, improved discover news feed and the a new data counter to monitor savings made, many features we hope will also be coming to Windows Phone.
