My bookmarks bar keeps disappearing when i log out, i have to go to menu to retrieve everytime y?

Every time i log into the browser the bookmarks bar has gone. I have to manually go to the option to get the bar to retrive it, only to find it has gone again when i log out and in again. Why is this and how can i get it to stay there permanantly?
Just to make it clear, the bookmarks are all still there, but the bar disapears every time i log out and back in again.

Every time you log out of Windows you mean? You don't have to log into Opera...

NO i mean every time i log out of opera, are you suggesting that keeping the broweer open is a solution? I do have to close the browser and i have no idea why you say i dont.

I guess you mean everytime you close Opera. To log out it would mean that you needed to log in (by entering username and pasword) first, what isn't the case.
As said, something seems to be blocking Opera from updating its files. Try with a standalone clean install to check if the issue is reproducible.

The problem is worse then i thought. My extensions all disappear when i close opera too. Now i have to DL them all again and every time i open my browser. Do you know any fixes please?
