PDFs don't open

Since the last version of Opera Next updated, PDFs no longer open. They don't open in browser, and even though I've told Acrobat to try opening outside the browser, that doesn't work either. I just get a blank gray screen where the PDF should be.

So I switched to Next because of a problem in Developer
Next won't display or download PDFs.Developer won't accept links from external clients. (That is, if I click on a link in an email in Thunderbird, it doesn't open in Opera.
So, How many versions of Opera do I need to do everything. (Sometimes I do wish I had kept every version since 1996.)
Seriously, When can we expect updates of either Developer or Next that address known issues?

Probably at least two (I use Opera 11.64 and 12.16, but still need Firefox for some stuff), but the whole point of test versions is that they are released to find bugs before they make it to final — they should not be used for real work. Never use beta software for anything important.
Use whichever final version has most of the features that you need, and test the others.

After click on a PDF link, the pdf file opens in a new tab instead dialog ask me about the place to save it.
I'm using the version 22.0.1460.0 and yes, I set Opera:config before. -

I see these comments are from April 2014, but I'm having the same problem with PDFs not opening in Opera, just showing a blank page. Is this still an unresolved developer problem or do I need to do something?
