      Hello devs!

I'd like to remove this search bar, when a website is not found(I just hate Google, and all that things). And, if there's a way to do this, I want to remove all that Google crap from my browser.

      I have Opera 32.0.1899.0 - developer.

Many users have requested this, and even if I'm a Google user, I agree that it's not reasonable to have a Google bar if you're for example a yahoo user.

Can't help with the "site not found" page but the speed dial is easy (if you know the trick). Keyword is 'superuser mode'. And don't worry: it won't retain, you need to re-activate it every time to access these specific features.

            • Enter your settings (alt-p)
            • Now use: up, up, down, down, left, right, left, right, b, a. So cursor keys and then the letters 'b' and 'a'.
            • Confirm your choice and also remove the 'b' from the search box to see all options.
            • Either scroll down or enter 'box' in the search bar to show the option ("Hide the search box in Speed Dial").
            • Enable it and you're done.

Although it might look like a burden having to re-enable this every time do keep in mind that these options are not commonly used. You'll soon see what I mean by that.

            Hope this helps.

"Hide the search box in Speed Dial" it's hiding just the big search bar in the center, not what I've asked. Check the picture again.

And I don't know, why Opera want to me to use Google. This browser is good, but lacks customization. I'm already using superuser mode, but things like what I want to see in my Speed Dial page, cannot be modified(except Google search bar, and theme).

These options shouldn't be added to developer edition?(Or maybe add to opera://flags)

One more thing: an UI scaling option shouln't be bad, because imho it looks "fat".

Unless you check "Always show power user settings" 😉

You can of course change the default search engine, though that has no effect on the error page ...
