Opera 19 can not be used as portale browser on a USB stick (as Opera 12 has been :rip: ).
It does not retrieve Passwords if the stick is used on other Windows account oder hardware.
The password manager does not insert passwords and does not show any passwords in passwordmanager (Alt P => Privacy & security )Install Opera on USB stick on your PC (may be as Windows user test1)
Start laucher.exe on stick
Login on website
let Opera store login
Inspect passwords in passwordmanager
Password is seen and can be inserted for login
Goto your Notebook or PC
login on another account (may be as Windows user opera2)
insert stick
start Opera with laucher.exe on stick
Login on website
Try to insert login
Missing login and password
Inspect passwords in passwordmanager
Password and logins are missingBug reported as DNA-16621

Fine. Loosing a Windows account means: Loosing passwords.
"Security" by Data Loss.
That really means: i cant backup the profile, because it is bound to hardware and Windows account.
Such a nonsense. That is a ugly Chromium related buggy idea!

This is a serious issue with the new Opera. It looks like synch will be the only backup, and past experience with Opera Link tells me it's not something that anyone should rely on for secure backup.
