<p dir="auto">It does not retrieve Passwords if the stick is used on other Windows account oder hardware.<br />
The password manager does not insert passwords and does not show any passwords in passwordmanager (Alt P =&gt; Privacy &amp; security )</p>
<p dir="auto">Install Opera on USB stick on your PC (may be as Windows user test1)<br />
Start laucher.exe on stick<br />
Login on website<br />
let Opera store login<br />
Inspect passwords in passwordmanager<br />
Password is seen and can be inserted for login<br />
Goto your Notebook or PC<br />
login on another account (may be as Windows user opera2)<br />
insert stick<br />
start Opera with laucher.exe on stick<br />
Login on website<br />
Try to insert login<br />
Missing login and password<br />
Inspect passwords in passwordmanager<br />
Password and logins are missing</p>

<p dir="auto">This is a serious issue with the new Opera. It looks like synch will be the only backup, and past experience with Opera Link tells me it's not something that anyone should rely on for secure backup.</p>

Loosing a Windows account means: Loosing passwords.</p>
<p dir="auto">"Security" by Data Loss.</p>
<p dir="auto">That really means: i cant backup the profile, because it is bound to hardware and Windows account.<br />
Such a nonsense.</p>
