dropdowns not working on any website...

...including this one. I can see the dropdown, but there is no dropdown list when clicking. IE, Firefox, and Chrome all work. I have tried disabling all extensions, reinstalling Opera, and screaming, none of which worked. I'm using Opera 29.
Any ideas what to look for?

I have disabled all extensions.
Doesn't work in a private window.
Developer version 30 does the same thing - no dropdown lists.

Do dropdowns work if you force Opera to open in 96dpi mode - with command-line option
--alt-high-dpi-setting=96It was problem in some 29 or 30 dev versions, using non-default screen scaling (higher than 96dpi), in latest 30 and 31 dev versions this is fixed (at least for me and many others).

Yep, that works. I guess I'll try 31 and see it it's fixed for me.

And developer version 31 is working right for me. I hope the changes propagate to live soon.
Thanks everyone who responded!

My install of 29.0.1795.47 has the problem, though. I uninstalled the program (but not settings, bookmarks, etc) and reinstalled after a reboot and the problem still persists. And I installed beta 30 and it was foobared too, but beta 31 works.

I have the sane build of Opera 29 and dropdowns are working fine here. The same for Beta 30 and developer 31.

Do you have some shortcut to launch Opera? Sure you have. Open its properties, somewhere there is command line (target) like next (folder name is probably different, to not alter that part in any way!):
"C:\Program Files\Opera Developer\launcher.exe"
Add suggested option at end, result should look like this:
"C:\Program Files\Opera Developer\launcher.exe" --alt-high-dpi-setting=96

maybe some of the flags are causing it
open opera://flags click on changed and see if you change any of those flags
In the past, there was a flag that was causing this...I just can't remember which one -

Thanks both. Neither worked I'm afraid. I reset all flags to default first. No change. I left them all at default and added the command line instruction and still no change. If I use IE Tab to get the same page the dropdown works OK.
