You didn't find that in the previous update either. Bitmap fonts can be enabled in Opera Mini via opera:config.

I actually did find and activate it in the previous version. I can't remember the code to enter into the address bar now. about:config returns a blank page. Please help.

Maybe you are talking about Opera Classic?
I don't remember this option in Opera Blink.

No. I'm talking about Opera Mobile browser for android. It was there in both mobile browser and mini browser.

It worked in both modes and both browsers! I used that feature. I can't find the setting with this new update.

Hi nishadrox that is a feature of the Opera Mini client... which was also available in OffRoad mode. We've moved away from OffRoad mode in Opera for Android because of its many other issues. Not that I'd like to see you go, but if you only want to use OffRoad mode then the new Opera Mini is the app for you.

I assume you are talking about the "Use bitmap fonts for
complex scripts" setting. Are you sure the new Opera for Android doesn't have this feature? -

Yes I am sure. You access it through typing opera:config in the url bar. You can do that both in the old and the new mini, but it's not a feature of Opera for Android (post version 28).
