And you can see an option named Use Bitmap fonts for complex scripts.

You access it through typing opera:config in the url bar. You can do that both in the old and the new mini, but it's not a feature of Opera for Android (post version 28).

We've moved away from OffRoad mode in Opera for Android because of its many other issues. Not that I'd like to see you go, but if you only want to use OffRoad mode then the new Opera Mini is the app for you.

Bitmap fonts can be enabled in Opera Mini via opera:config.
