When I start up Opera all I have is just new tabs that never load web pages. Even when I go to settings, a new tab pops up but never shows any content. here is the image of it:
Could anybody help?
Many thanks

I have had the same problem since updating to Opera 26 on my PC. I also use Opera on my Mac and that works fine, but the fact that Opera no longer works on my PC means I may have to give up on Opera in favour of Chrome or Firefox. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling Opera loads of time on my PC, including trying the latest Beta version but I just get the exact same problem as Dizara mentions above. As a long term Opera user on my Mac, PC, iPad and Sony Android phone I really don't want to change to another browser but... needs must! Any ideas out there how to resolve this????

27 doesn't work either but the I mention 26 because since upgrading from 25 to 26 Opera hasn't worked on my PC, the upgrade from 26 to 27 didn't change resolve it.
I have uninstalled Opera (including user data) from my PC and re-downloaded the latest installation file, perhaps there are hidden files that need to be deleted too to complete the uninstall before reinstalling?
The points re extensions and type of speed dial are , unfortunately, not relevant because the software hangs as shown in Dizara's post so I can't set up any extensions / speed dials etc, nothing in the browser works, if I type an address it doesn't work.
(For info, I'm using Opera 27 on my Mac to write this, using new speed dial and no extensions, it all works fine).

I just created a post about the same problem. I guess we are not alone. Opera 27 seams to fail on every aspect.

My PC is in the office, I'll try lecoq's ideas on Monday and will advise how it went.

I've tried all the suggestions on the link leocg (sorry for the earlier mis-spelling) gave but unfortunately, despite following everything to the letter, I still can't get Opera 27 (or 26 or 25) to work on my PC. 25 used to work fine until I "upgraded" to 26. Looks like I'll need to switch to Chrome / Firefox /something else, shame as I've enjoyed using Opera for a few years now.
