Unable to show passwords in password manager (Opera 26)

In the password manager in Opera 26, the passwords are all hidden by default, shown as bullet characters.
If I click the button to show a hidden password, it asks me to enter my "computer password". I am on a single-user home PC, so I don't use a Windows password for my user account.
If I leave the password field blank in Opera's requestor and hit OK, it tells me the login is unsuccessful, and I can not continue.
Is this a bug in Opera's password manager, or am I missing something here? -

Strange, I'm not asked for any password if I show the passwords' contents on Opera 28.
I'm a single PC user too (Windows XP), although I do have a password on the system.
It's not asking for it though.

Highlight the address below, right-click and choose Go to web address. Click Enable - not sure if you need to restart Opera or it takes effect immediately.
opera://flags/#disable-password-manager-reauthenticationThat setting did exactly what I needed, thanks.
I did need to restart Opera, but it told me that as soon as I changed the setting.
