TMP files in profile directory

Can anyone explain me what these files are for? I've already found 91 Preferences~xxxxxx.TMP and about 30 TransportSecurity~xxx.TMP in my prodfile's directory...

I've seen some tmp files in my profile folders sometimes but usually it's not more than two or three. Right now there is a CC89.tmp one.

I guess they are just tmp files that weren't removed by any reason.

Yea, maybe, but I wonder why they are here. When they are created, when I change preferences? I don't do it so often

Preferences and Local State are changed when you change a setting or a flag. Others may change constantly depending on what you do during your surfing time.

Maybe even some extension could be creating those files.
