Landscape mode in touchscreen phones

According to the instructions, Opera Mini can toggle between landscape and portrait modes by pressing *# (as opposed to going through multiple menus).

Is there an alternative for touchscreen phones without a keyboard? Or is there a way of having a keyboard display on the touchscreen within Opera Mini?
