When you page back on a site, does Opera reload the page or is the page retrieved from cache?

I ask this because of questions asked about the tab previews.
I thought it better to start a new topic. Is there a way to set this in settings?
Perhaps set the cache to zero? Or is that even possible?

No setting for cache size I've seen. Desktop versions seem to fetch the updated page (at least, judging by this forum) while mobile versions don't. That is, if I delete a post here (as moderator) and then go back, in the mobile versions the list page doesn't show the post was deleted while the desktop versions do.

You shouldn't. It's a special script here (it reloads even in 11).

(it reloads even in 11).
It will do, unless you changed opera:config#UserPrefs|HistoryNavigationMode to 3

opera:config in version 24 brings me to the "settings" page.
How do you get to the actual old config settings? Or is that possible?

@browzer1, No it's not possible, as the config page does not exist in the new version of Opera.
Opera://flags is a similar hidden configuration page available in the new version of Opera, but contains a completely different set of options.

Linux, other sites don't reload. Neither in my 11 nor in my Ole Firefox.
Operaforums always does.
I don't think it's actually reloading though - it's something else which refreshes the content without reloading. So I mean what? This site is not to take an example.
