No Avatars?
I'm unhappy about forcing people to Wordpress/Gravatar or to use the Kindergarden like icons.
And i dont want to be tracked by Worpress/Automattic.I want to link to my own Avatar picture from my website.
Dear Opera Devs, please add the ability to link to external pictures or upload a own avatar.

I was a bit suspicious of using Gravatar myself, but I took the plunge and was pleasantly surprised to find how many other places I how have an avatar on that I didn't before!
I more miss the easy use of smilies here than I miss the traditional avatars TBH.

I came across another style called "Tile", or "Title", I forget.

About the submission-OP bug - now I couldn't see my reply anywhere, twice already. I hope you dig into it,
You have posted 2 times within 120 seconds. A spam block is now in effect on your account. You must wait at least 600 seconds before attempting to post again.
And as long as you have badges, you could get your spam block depending on the same data to relieve monkeys, for example, from the current stiffness. We do have other means to deal with attempted spammers, like you thought(?) an old user would turn to voodoo magic:hehe:

I saw four: mod, emp, monkey, and "money bags":D I've the last two;)Click on a badge, it will take you to that user's "badges" page which describes what their badges represent ... but I'll presume "EMP" is employee. Your "money bags" is now a trophy with the number 5oo on it.

I guess yesterday's attempt to quench that bug proved inconsistent.

Yes, the ability to have a plain three step tab history is a great deal, + pages load faster than one could experience yesterday evening (Europe).

Dear administration & co., did you notice yourselves that, when you create a new topic and are preparing the OP to submit, the preview in this case doesn't EXACTLY correspond with the actual output - in terms of certain formatting: like coding, lists, linebreaks sometimes..?

Now I came to express my likings of these forums: half a day spent raking through other places - now I'm relieved to have come back [home] here*:)*
It was a real pain in the ar.. eyes to go elsewhere - while here I now can rest at last...
