Importing Bookmarks

I have run into the same problem, the "Bookmarks Importer" button will not highlight.

Edit: Oh my... I'm sorry, I thought the official Bookmarks manager extension was updated to work with the new bookmarks API required to interact with the built-in bookmarks bar. Do not do this as it's not the best method.

Thanks, rafaelluik! So, how do I get them into the bookmarks toolbar?
Edit: I went to the Bookmarks Manager that you suggested and clicked on some of the bookmarks and moved them to the Bookmarks Toolbar.
But I don't see it on the toolbar itself. Rather, it's in a folder named "Bookmarks Toolbar" instead. Also, I am still unable to access the "Import Bookmarks" function in Opera's sidebar.

Also, the toolbar says "For quick access, add your bookmarks to this bar".
When I tried to do that, it just saves the link to the Bookmarks Manager rather than putting all of my folders across the toolbar, as I had done with Firefox.
With the current set-up, I have to manually select each bookmark on one page, rather than being able to access the bookmarks by clicking on a folder on the toolbar which brings up that folder's bookmarks for easy use.
The current set-up also prohibits users from adding my imported bookmarks to folders in the Bookmarks Toolbar (the one below the address bar, not the Stash feature or Speedial).

It would take at least a day to open them up and then manually put them all of them into the toolbar.
I'm a very busy student with a lot of projects to finish, meetings to attend, semesters to register for, and Finals Week to prepare for.
I understand that the underlying problems are compatibility issues, but these problems are ruining the browsing experience for Opera users.
I want to use Opera because it's faster, potentially have a much better userface than Firefox, and be better than it in every way. But how can new users be expected to make the switch with these issues getting in the way?

You can drag and drop entire folders around on the Bookmarks Bar, and sort them alphabetically. It's not necessary to add bookmarks one by one.

You can use the Tidy Bookmarks in Chrome. And its the same as the one that was in Opera, I believe. Just download first the opera extension, "Dowload Chrome extension". Then you can download and install extensions from the Chrome store into Opera.

I'm sorry, it's better that you follow the instructions here to import again and use Neater Bookmarks:
