If you find a link, just hold the ctrl key down, and press enter (for the link) on the keyboard, and it WILL open in a new tab in Opera 22 (background tab).

If you hold the ctrl key down, and press shift enter (for the link) on the keyboard, it will open in a new tab in Opera 22 (foreground tab).

@rafaelluik, not sure what you mean, doesn't work since 15.0. Ctrl enter, and Ctrl shift enter works perfectly for opening a link in a new tab. I use it all the time. The only other other keyboard option is mouse (middle click) on the link (background tab), or hold the shift key down, and mouse middle click)(foreground tab), but I prefer using the Ctrl key.

Go to web address is about non-hyperlinked text, it's a context menu function. Select and right-click this: opera.com

The poster says: "when highlight a website url." So it was confusing to me. I thought he meant a link.
