Whenever I go onto a video (on websites apart from Youtube) the screen just stays blank and when I right-click I see 'Movie not loaded' and the version of Flash. Please help!

What version of Opera are you using? What is your Operating system? Have you gone to Adobe flash website in your Opera browser and downloaded the latest version of Flash in that browser? Do you have Off-road or Turbo mode activated. If so, that can interfere with the playing of flash. So make sure they are not activated. I'm not sure what websites you are going to, but I'm using Opera 22 with the latest version of Flash, and You Tube, and other video websites are working fine for me.

hello, i would like to contribute to this thread as well, because ive been noticing this issue with flash player on opera 20,21 and 22
most of my flash videos load pretty fine, but youtube videos dont
for example, if i try to skip ahead of how far it has buffered, the buffering stops, i cant move backwards of forwards, its like its glued at this point, its not even playing
i have to hit F5 and reload the page in order to fix it
does anyone experience similar behavior?
ive tried with flash player 13 stable and 14 beta, and its the same, so i decided to stick with the 14 beta, since there is no difference

Now I checked my YouTube. Played some videos, and even skipped way ahead and it all worked instantly. I'm using Opera 22 in a Windows 7 environment. I'm thinking maybe the seamless way you can do that might depend on how fast your internet download is. Mine is 29 mbps. If your connection isn't fast enough, it's reasonable to expect some buffering. Not sure why the situation has changed with later versions of Opera, though I do believe that the later versions take up more system resources. Now when you say your other flash videos work fine, maybe those are only very short videos? Some of the YouTube performance videos may be HD, and have a lot of data in them.

this is my speed, and as i pointed out, its a specific issue, because everything but youtube loads fast, and if i use another browser, youtube will work just fine
about an year ago i had about 0.5 times faster speed, but i changed my contract

Obviously you have very good download speed. You might want to post your operating system, in case that's somehow related to the problem. I have no idea why you're having the problem. Others might comment on whether YouTube is working fine, or not so, for them.

Slow YouTube may well have a Windows 8.1, not an Opera cause. At least, this link suggests others like you.
And maybe there's something in this youTube video that can help you (if it doesn't play so choppy you can't follow it)
