You put pure version of Android, I was talking about stock Android 4.0 and stock Android 4.1. And it is a little laggy since 21.

Well, yes, but the reason why it's smoother is probably Project Butter (4.1+). It should affect OEM ROMs too, or not?

It should but Samsung and Sony, modify so much that becomes a little heavy. I remember the difference between Xperia X10 stock 2.3 and Cyanogenmod 7. my old phone.

If I could put pure android on my phone it would be great, once I tried but the was not stable enough.

Afaik, Sony don't modify/add things that much.

Actually Sony adds its own UI, apps and some features like Bravia and xLoud. Samsung adds a lot of things, features, etc

My battery drain list, using Xperia Z is as follows:
                    (H:MM, or D:HH:MM)

                    Screen 54%, 4:02 on
Opera 23%, CPU total- 1:30, CPU foreground 0:36
                    Cell standby 9%, 1:04:32
                    Phone idle 7%, 1:00:27
                    Android OS 4%, 0:13
                    Android System 4%
                    Phone 2%

                    Is this normal?

What do you use Opera for? If you're watching videos or playing games it'll drain your batteries faster.

Not playing games or videos, just browsing forums, googling things. Tvtropes and wikipedia mostly.

It depends on how much you use Opera compared to other apps...

I use Opera most of the time. If I have 50% screen brightness (less being impossible to use outdoors where I spend my time) for 5 hours, I read on Opera for 90-95% of this time.

It can also depend on signal strength via wifi or 3/4g, and whether your phone has to use extra (battery) power to boost it if you are in a weak signal area or happen to be moving around a lot, thus causing the signal strength to fluctuate.

No matter what else I do, I think Opera taking from 15-20% average is too much. Especially when I only read (mostly) text webpages, having flash disabled (not installed).

I will come back to Original Android 4.1.2, which does not have any bugs and has a lot of features.
