Can't be sure since I don't use extensions much, but it is probably not something you can fix yourself. Contact the author of the extension and tell them of your problems. Be sure to mention some details about your system and which version of Opera you attempted to install the extension to.

Same here. Any attempt to add an extension from https://addons.opera.com fails with an error: "An error occurred when installing the extension: Download interrupted"
Version: 19.0.1326.63 - Opera is up to date
Update stream: Stable
System: Windows 7 64-bit (WoW64) -

Weirdly, when I visit the extension URL directly at
https://addons.opera.com/extensions/download/pdf-viewer/
it installs the extension but leaves it disabled. When manually enabling it, it reports:
-----
The extension "PDF Viewer" was added from outside the official add-ons website. It will require the following permissions:
Access your tabs and browsing activity
Access your data on all websites
Do you confirm the installation?
-----So, something is causing Opera to think the extension is originating outside the permitted extension repository.

But wait, you have version 19.0.1326.63 of Opera. Why not upgrade to Opera 21, and then see what happens with the add-ons. Opera 21 is the most recent stable version of Opera.

@lem729 Opera 21 didn't exist when the last activity in this topic occurred.
@chonus1966 revived the thread, and I don't think he/she is even talking about the desktop version. In another thread-hijacking post he/she mentions Boat browser, which doesn't exist for desktops. o.o PS. Currently Extensions are not supported in Opera for Android.
Please, in the future search before posting and create your own thread on the correct section if you don't find the answer to your question.
