Missing Tab Groups or Tab Islands

Hi, I'm new using Opera Air, but there's one feature that is very important to me and I couldn't find here... Tab Groups or Tab Islands as Opera calls it

So called Tab Islands are not a part of Opera AIR and there is no plan to change it for now.

Tabs islands, with all it's colors and structure doesn't work well with AIR's minimalistic mission.

@Mlipka Can you tell us how does white/gray tab islands that helps with organization would not be working well with minimalism? Opera GX has a flag to activate tab islands why can't you implement this flag that has 20 000 views on opera forum , which is used >1% users so in reality lot more desire this function

@Mlipka At this point you spend more time explaining people why tab islands organizational structure goes against Opera air aesthetics , than it would take to deploy the function

I’ll continue to clarify our position whenever it's asked, as we want to keep everyone in the loop even when the news isn't what you're hoping for. While nothing is ever truly 'written in stone,' Tab Islands simply aren't on the roadmap for the foreseeable future. We appreciate you sharing your perspective on the aesthetics and the implementation process, though.
