@bicthechick You should be able to do that like in any other app, you right click on the executable file and use the run and administrator option.
You can also right click on the start bar shortcut.

opera://about. What's the install path and what's the install type?If the install type is "For current user" and the install path is "C:\Users\yourusername\AppData\Local\Programs\Opera" for example, you don't want to run Opera as an administrator. That might mess up the permissions of Opera's files in some cases.
You'd only want to run Opera as administrator if you have an all-user install type where Opera is installed to "C:\Program Files\Opera" for example where you're logged in to a standard, non-administrator account and you want to run Opera as an administrator user and have Opera use that administrator's settings and data for Opera (as opposed to logging into that administrator's account and starting Opera from there).

@bicthechick Right-click your Opera shortcut, go to Properties > Compatibility, and check the box that says 'Run this program as an administrator'. That will force it to launch as admin every time.
