Facebook broken again?

Hi guys,
Using Opera 12.17 on Win7 32bit, here.
I've had this happen before, but this week it's gotten to a point where I simply cannot use Facebook at all.
It will just display a blank page, possibly the title in the tab.For example right now, I'm trying to load the welcome page (deleted my Facebook cookies to see what would happen)
and all I see is "Welcome to Facebook..." without the favicon, just a rotating icon because it's loading. And "3 out of 8 Elements"...
Oh and now after several minutes, I get to... what appears to be the page without any CSS applied to it.So I guess Facebook changed their CSS and it broke something? Again?
I'm curious because Internet Explorer loads the page flawlessly, so clearly it's a weakness on Opera side, but I'd like to know if it's just me... then maybe I can figure out how to fix this.
If it's Opera not playing nice with Facebook's silly CSS, well...

sigh...I was hoping for anything but that kind of answer.
If I wanted a different browser, I have IE installed right here already. Already tried Opera Next and 21 and whatever they wanna call it next week. Not impressed (yet). -

Opera Presto will not be updated, there is no reason to use it. We are in a free world, use what is better for you.

So is anyone going to extend the common courtesy of a reason why my legitimate post, that was offering a forum user some help and info was immediately deleted ?, surely that is only just, considering that particular post never broke any forum rules.

It doesn't seem to have been deleted by a mod. maybe the forum is bugged?

Works flawlessly in 12.15 Are you sure you don't have it in User Mode, instead of Author Mode?

Yeah, I'm in Author mode.
It's very strange because the problem is intermittent...
Once in a while I'll be able to load the page no problem, and others it just hangs there... right now I get the blue header but nothing else. It just waits to load.And before you ask, I can load the page flawlessly in IE at the same time, so I doubt it's "the Internet being slow" or something like that.
I'm just curious if other people are experiencing this problem, really.
