      @sgunhouse TY
      I disabled Continue Shopping in Settings. No change. Still get the error message.

          @leocg So then it's an Amazon thing, not an Opera theng. 😞

          If they are using a script, you may be able to right-click Open the links (it will bypass "on click" scripts if you use the context menu). Otherwise you need to wait for Amazon to fix it.

            @sgunhouse I mean that clicking on the link in the first post results on that message, no matter the browser.

            When I tried to access amazon.com, I was redirected to the local Amazon page.

              @jimjinnj It was a shortcut that you've created? Or it was one that comes with Opera?

                @leocg no shortcut. I am clicking links directly on Amazon, e.g, a pair of shoes. but not all links result in the odd message. some work.

                  @sgunhouse I just clicked "amazon basics" link on the landing page. I got the error again. however, if I right click, choose "open in link new page" it goes through.
                  so I am agreeding with someone here that it is a amazon issue.
                  I will let it go and see what happens. thanks for all the help and isdeas, folks.

                      @jimjinnj Not Amazon unless it only happens while logged in - some extension though still using "on click" script. I have no account on Amazon, if I go to the front page the links work fine. So ... no other obvious Amazon or Shopping extensions?

                      @leocg A malformed link will still be malformed in a different browser, it's like clicking a link to an error message.

                        TY. I think I found the issue. I disabled all my extensions. the one that seems the culprit is Auto Refresh Page.
                        very useful for certain sites I want to refresh every few minutes but apparently doesn't play well with Amz.
                        should I report that to anybody?
