Weather widget not working

I'm having a problem setting up a new Opera install. No matter how often I try, the weather widget on the speed dial page never resolves. It's continually strobing, never settling on the default location, which in turn prevents me from customizing it to a location. Anyone else experienced this problem and have a solution?

@greatland1959 Currently the weather widget is not working on any OS or version of Opera due to an inability to access the server. Until Opera Software fixes their server, their is nothing to do about it.

@sgunhouse I'm not having this issue, actually. Maybe a problem only for some regions?

@SheriffOfGrace Where are you located? I am in the US (Alaska, specifically).

@greatland1959 Yesterday I totally reformatted a Mac M4, loaded Sequoia, installed Opera, and started the sync, and NOTHING on the home page works -- and that includes weather. I am in Atlanta, Georgia, U.S.
However, I can browse around just fine. It's just the home page.
And finally, my other computer -- also an M4 with Sequoia -- is sitting inches away from this one, and Opera's home page is just fine.

@burnout426 Nope. Not working in any version of Opera (release, beta, dev, Air).

@greatland1959 Strange, it's working here and others have confirmed it's working for them too. Not sure if any of them are on macOS though. Maybe it's still broken there for some reason.

@burnout426 Just an update: Still not working. Sequoia 15.6.1. Hasn't worked at all for a very long time.

@burnout426 I am on Windows 10 with Opera One (122.0.5643.51) and the widget doesn't work. It won't let me set a location, and only ever shows that shiny horizontal "busy" animation.

@susanm In Opera on Windows at least, it was working when I posted that and kept working for days. Then, it was broken again for a while. But, it's working again for me in 122.0.5643.51 on Windows for example. Can't test on macOS.

@susanm Yup. That's exactly what I get with every version: Release, Beta, Developer, Air. And on multiple computers. Has been that way for quite awhile.
