tabs disappear when I click them

This just started happening. I can only have one tab at a time. If I click on other tabs they disappear. I don't know what I hit or did and I don't know how to fix it. Basically when I open a new tab I want to be able to get at all of my tabs. Anyone know what I did and how to fix it?

Which version of Opera? Any extensions being used?

The tab disappears only when you click on it or just opening a new tab makes the other one vanishes?

I've never seen it here. Ah, how are you opening the new tabs?

What do you mean by "disappear"? The tab vanishes from the tab bar doing an animation like it's being closed or the page content gets white or something?

Is the Shift key stuck? (Doesn't seem like it from your post though.) Either Shift-click or middleclick will close a tab ...
