      Hello,

I was wondering if there is an option (like opera 12) to force new links that open in a new window into a new tab. I tried a few chrome extension, but it didn't work. (called one window).

I looked on the extension page on opera.com, but still nothing. Funny because the older version of opera use to to that and I loved this little thing.

I'm asking because my work's website (intranet) uses a lot of that and it makes my computer all messy. I can't right-click either because it's some sort of javascript thingy. So I'm stuck.

      Thanks

Not sure what type of links you are referring to that force a new window. So can you be more specific about what types of links these are the go against the norm. Now generally, if you right click on a link in Opera 22, you get a choice -- New Tab, or New Window. So just right click on the link, and select New Tab. Alternatively if you go Ctrl left click (on the link), or Middle click on the link, it should open the link in the new tab.

You can get a nice PDF viewer extension in Opera 22 that opens pdf files in a tab.

There was a thread recently on this, the user did find one Chrome extension which forced pop-up to open in a new tab (pop-up that specify a window size being the only "links" that would automatically open as a new window) ... I'll have to find that thread. As a Chrome extension, you'll need the Opera extension that allows Chrome extensions to get it to work.

middle click works. It opens in a new tab correctly. Is there a way to force middle click for all pop ups?

Don't know if this is of any help, but it works like this for bookmarks: (Opera 23)

Click: Opens in the same tab

Shift-click: Opens in a new window

Ctrl-Shift-click: Opens in a new tab

Ctrl-click: Opens in a new tab, but in the background

perb: right-click doesn't work on javascript links. The only one that works is middle click like I was saying.

I was referring to left click. So how about Ctrl-Shift-left click?
