New Firefox is so beautiful, so functional, so customizable like Opera 12.x.

      No, it's not.

A lot of the extensions I've tried won't work or doesn't exist with Opera.
        Which ones?

Today I just realized there is no way to export bookmarks.
Yes, it's still not available, but mentioning a feature which only purpose would be for quitting using a browser as one reason for quitting using a browser is a little weird. (PS. An extension like Xmarks Sync would work for that situation and other extensions that work with the bookmarks API would also be able to export your bookmarks. A third-party program called Transmute - it has a free+portable version - will also transfer bookmarks easily you just need to select Chromium as source because Opera uses the Chromium bookmarks file model).

It is not the advert. Are you affraid of the truth? That Opera 15+ is crap? It's been enough time to make something nice out of it, but Opera 20 has lack of functionalities.

As far as functionality goes, nothing as as good as Opera 12, period.
                  🙂
Sadly it is becoming more incompatible with an ever increasing number of websites, which will eventually make this irrelevant.
                  😞

Just from a bit of searching, there> Yesterday Firefox released version 29 which basically kills Opera in total.

Did a bit of searching on Firefox 29 and it seems there are a fair few who dislike it saying its trying to copy Chrome and they don't like the new UI. Had a look myself and can't see anything radical that makes it really different to the last version. Just a few menu changes and some nods to Chrome like the look of the tabs. I have to use a plugin to get Speed Dial (Super Start) and before a complete delete and reinstall of FF this plugin with v29 caused my laptop to freeze (hooray for plugins!).

Initially I thought Opera was great. Fast, useful Stash feature that includes a screen shot. Great. I've spent a lot of time using Opera for awhile now. However....
A lot of the extensions I've tried won't work or doesn't exist with Opera. Its odd, but I can work with it I suppose.
Today I just realized there is no way to export bookmarks. To simply put, its been inconvenient and a frustrating night to have to save each URL onto notepad, something that should have taken a few seconds. I've read up on the issue and noticed a lot of people complaining about it for awhile with no solutions from the developers. Yes I know its free, but lacking.
So this is why I wont be using Opera again.

                    Bye then!

I downloaded the Firefox update and it's the same old same old to me. Opera is the way to go. Opera 20 is a delight -- lightening fast, renders sites wonderfully, the best Speed Dial on the internet, the ability to make use of tons of extensions (both in the Opera and Chrome store). It has Stash, Discover, Off Road mode. You can do incredible bookmarking with it. It has a minimalist, very attractive, modern look. The best thing to do is to ignore the nattering nabobs of negativity. :)))))
