I found this extension that claims to be an Ad blocker

But its actually adware and it doesn't work. Is there any way to report it to Opera? Does Opera care?

Oh yeah, whochan got in trouble before for trying to promote his other extensions (reported in the old forum of course), as soon as I saw he was the author I wasn't surprised at all. It's an expension for Opera 12, not sure it works in newer versions (doubtful due to the nature of the extension though) ... generally his stuff has worked as advertised, other than the ads for his other extensions.
If you'll read through the comments you see that some other people reported an earlier version last year ...
