@sporty78 Opera One or Opera GX?
Opera doesn't have such setting, it follows Chromium autoplay policy.
@leocg
My question has not been answered:
'How Do I disable Video and Audio Using Opera' 'or' do Video and Audio play by default?
@sporty78 Like I said, there isn't a setting for it.
You.can try using an extension to stop autoplay.
To be clear, without an 'add-on extension,' Opera enables Video and Audio Autoplay by default and, consequently, both have to be stopped manually on every website?
@sporty78 Yep, like in other browsers.
I am not sure what you are talking about.
FF has an 'Autoplay' Setting option that permits a user to 'Block Audio And Audio,' which works beautifully.
Unfortunately, O does not have an 'equivalent' setting, which is what I was asking about.
@sporty78 FF is the exception, other browsers also don't have such setting, specially the ones based on Chromium.
To be clear then, when using O to access websites with Video and Audio, unless a 3rd party extension is 'added,' V and A will play automatically?
@sporty78 Audio can be disabled in settings (search for sound).
@sporty78 Yes
Thx.
