Opera Mac v89.0.4447.91 keeps reopening

I often quit Opera and wait until the space it used is released. Then I open it.
However today everytime I quit it (it's not a crash nor a forced quit), it reopens.

@sipesipe Same here. Its been doing it for months and each time I quit it restarts. It is just me or is it really buggy on a mac. This constant ogin BS and really captcha loops. I reinstalled today and reset my search engine to DuckGoGo but it still uses google.
All the same annoying retro browser BS

@cuntee Unfortunately they won't be maintaining such an old version. If a Mac user can tell you what to do to reset it without losing your bookmarks, fine, but apparently your system is too old for newer versions to run on.

Try these steps:

Disable "Reopen Windows" in Opera Preferences > On Startup.
Disable Extensions to check if one is causing it.
Close All Windows before quitting Opera.
Quit Background Processes in Activity Monitor.
Update or Reinstall Opera if the issue persists.
