@operahelp Opera One or Opera GX?
Where is the rest of the post with the details of the issue, steps to reproduce, etc?

In both Opera One and Opera GX, just loading this search results page causes the page to display:
We're sorry, but united.com was unable to complete your request. Please try later or contact united.com Support in the U.S. and Canada at 1-800-825-2296; the U.K., phone 0800 028 5003; elsewhere use the local phone number
instead of displaying the results.
If I then, goto the URL
opera://browserjs
, disable browser js for the session and load that link (tested in a new tab), the search results will show fine then. I can even restart Opera and they'll show fine again without having to disable browser.js.If I goto the URL
opera://settings/clearBrowserData
and clear everything for all time, I can trigger the issue again, so my guess is that browser.js prevents some cookies from getting set, which breaks searching.Something to try and confirm I guess.

@bbildman Does disabling browser.js for the session help?
Disabling js completely disables the entire site, and cannot login at all, the page is blank, with a short message to enable js.
Also, when I just enter my mileage plus #, I get this
"Something went wrong
Sorry, something went wrong. Please try again." -

@burnout426 As an aside, now Chrome, and Edge no longer is letting me login, continue getting
"Something went wrong
Sorry, something went wrong. Please try again."when just entering either my wife's or my mileage plus#
Also, without logging in, I did a flight search, and get this::
"We're sorry, but united.com was unable to complete your request. Please try later or contact united.com Support in the U.S. and Canada at 1-800-825-2296; the U.K., phone 0800 028 5003; elsewhere use the local phone number"

Disabling js completely disables the entire site,
I meant going to the URL
opera://browserjs
and disabling browser.js for the session. browser.js is what Opera uses to patch problems on sites that won't fix their bugs. However, things with sites can change and the patches can become irrelevant without Opera knowing about it where sometimes the patches then break things. Disabling browser.js allowed you to test if it's the cause or not. -

@burnout426 #1 The site has been like this for a long time, since at least 6 months.
#2 I disabled js using the opera://browserjs action, and it works. But lo and behold, the site works even with js enabled also, I closed Opera, reopened it and now the site works perfectly. Have no idea why this is, but maybe the site has overheard our conversations.
My next major issue is how to correct slow search times using the address bar. Using the Google home page and doing the search within Google's search box works instantaneously

I think it's because with browser.js disabled, it allows some cookie to get set where once that cookie is set, you no longer need to disable browser.js. So, I'm still thinking Opera has a patch for united.com that might be messing things up.

@burnout426 All I can say is...weird...and I spoke too soon, seems late today, United is back with problems unless the js is disabled. I have also tried "disabling" js via an extension, but that doesn't work, only the opera://browserjs/ solution does.

So finally after more years than I can remember goodbye to Opera as my primary browser. This issue on 2 websites and the fact that the browswer hangs requiring Opera to ended with task manager every few days with no fix in site helped me make my decision.
