Suddenly can’t get past Cloudflare “check this box to show you’re human” challenge on way to tinyURL.com

Suddenly I can’t get past this Cloudflare challenge when trying to go to tinyURL.com. It never challenged me before. Any time I happen to get the “check the box” challenge in Opera it won’t let me past it — it just keeps cycling and circling back to the challenge box.
Other browsers can process the challenge and let me through, however.
I really like using Opera but this is, well, challenging
Can you help me resolve this? Thanks.

@Kalenchai It seems that the “tinyURL.com” site is now accessible without the Cloudflare challenge, so that seems to have been a temporary issue. However, now I encountered another, different website that is presenting the Cloudflare challenge and Opera is not able to get past it (while other browsers can).
That website is: Unite4Freedom.com (and it used to work fine without any additional challenge). Do you find the same issue if you try to access it?
I let the Opera team know about this.

The issue is actually a kind of good thing. The problem is that these sites have a messed up (or outdated) version of Cloudflare. If you open the console, you'll see:
This is because Opera blocks cross-site requests to prevent sites from giving your data to other sites. Disabling your ad-blockers won't fix this issue.
The Cloudflare check works in Chrome. This does not mean that Chrome is less secure; it just means that Chrome trusts Cloudflare and made an exception.
Hopefully Opera will do the same soon, or maybe the sites will use new versions of Cloudflare!
In the meantime, there isn't much you can do.

still no change today. is anyone at Opera even aware of the problem? I have now changed browsers, as no one seems to be interested in the problem or even answering. that's what customer service looks like... not

@Volkerer09 yes, I have. Can’t login to nexus mode via opera on my iPad. Safari works fine. Opera on iPhone works too though.

It's not just tinyurl.com and the other sites mentioned in this thread. Esteemed sites such as researchgate.net and wiley.com have the same problem. It is surprising that these sites have not updated their Cloudflare code.

Just off everything about DNS in your Opera.
-
Make sure, Windows doesn't mess with it as well. Web and Internet >> Proxy Server >> Everything off

@TRrexx I forgot to say that I use Opera on Android. Unfortunately, the solutions don't work there because the functions are very limited.

I thought it was fixed and was working fine for the last couple weeks, but it happened again today, done trying to troubleshoot this, just moving back to chrome. It's a shame Opera won't fix this, I actually liked the browser.

I see there is a long discussion on this topic in the Vivaldi forums as well (so it isn't just an Opera issue). One user there said it was because he'd set a rule in uBlockOrigin to block service workers, but that doesn't explain everyone else. Still, one suggestion to look at ...
Personally, never had this problem. I see the Cloudflare thing probably daily, but it always lets me through.

@sgunhouse "rule in uBlockOrigin to block service workers"
UPD. nvm. I just uninstalled Ublock and the error is still there. it's not the problem.couldya tell me how to disable it to check? by the way, I also checked Vivaldi and there I had no problems with captcha on nexusmods site, but in Opera it is still present.

@DanielOrision I updated to version 117.0.5408.53 on another PC with the same Windows version as the problematic one. When accessing researchgate.net, I get the message "We've noticed some unusual traffic coming from your network. To continue, please check the box below.", but ticking the Cloudflare box now works. wiley.com works now too. This time there was no need to switch to Chrome as user agent so Opera seems to have fixed this now, at least in my environment.

@NC4Opera Still doesn't work on Android (version 87.7.4607.83311). BTW, the main reason for sticking to Opera is its word wrap function on Android, and I'd like to sync it with the Windows version. I haven't found any other Android browser that has word wrap upon zooming in a page.
