We are happy to announce we are starting to rollout a new beta version of Opera for iOS with an overhauled user interface.

NOTE: This is early beta, the build will have some visual design and ux issues, but we we will provide updates continuously as we add fixes and improvements.

@jonaballen I haven’t figured out how to have the search bar on the bottom using my iPad, Yes. And there are no recently used tabs from desktop on my home screen using Flow, even with that option enabled.

The bottom search layout is only available on phone devices. Given the form factor and the heft of such device its hard to hold with one hand and navigate it from the bottom. We will look at iPad optimizations at a later date, for the next few releases we are keeping things as is.
We have disabled the recent tabs from showing on startpage, we will address that use case differently from before, most likely by adding one shortcut on startpage that gives access to all recent tabs from desktop, two steps but more choice.
You can still access recent tabs from the Tab UI

@jonaballen Ok, thanks for your reply. I‘m using it on my iPhone more nevertheless, so it’s ok for me.
