Automatic transition of synchronized content

I'm using two OS on my laptop - Windows and Ubuntu. I already have some synchronized staff in Opera under Windows - bookmarks, open tabs, speed dials etc. I've also installed Opera on Ubuntu.
I was waiting, that I logged in to my Opera account on newly Installer Opera app under Ubuntu, turned on the data synchronization in this browser instance, and all previously stored things will be "downloaded" to new browser. E. g., I thought that all opened tabs in Windows' Opera will appear in the Ubuntu's Opera, and also the speed dials will become identical, but there is no one of this - tabs, bookmarks, dials are not gonna copy from Windos to Ubuntu.
Should I copy all of them manually (and in this case I don't pretty understand, what's the advantage of such a Sync at all except just simple backing up)), or there is some way to make absolutely the same browser's state on Ubuntu as on origin Windows by someway like pressing one button? It also pretty important to perform back sync from Ubuntu to Windows, e. g. automatically open the tabs opened on Ubuntu in the Windows Opera instance .

@izyakantorovich Opened tabs from other installation should be found by clicking on the tabs icon in sidebar, or by going to opera://activity.

@izyakantorovich Speed dials are avalable bur kept separate (in case speed dials from a personal device might not be appropriate or allowed on a work device). If you look into Bookmarks you'll see a section for "Other speed dials" which could be copied to yout current device's Speed dial folder.
I don't personally use sessions; I know the option exists but couldn't say for sure where to find tabs from other devices.
