@Nimitz11K
This issue is fixed. More like you just have to make a settings change to what looks good for dark pages. opera://flags/#enable-force-dark
Pick one of the drop down menu times.
Im using Seletive Inversion of Non Image Elements. Working great on all web pages I have set for dark theme. -

How to switch off dark theme on websites in opera, I tried everything and its not switching to light and I can't read anything due to vision problems , flags, settings, reinstall, nothing turns it off. Its version 88.0.4412.53, I've had this problem since the latest update

See https://www.reddit.com/r/operabrowser/wiki/opera/dark_mode_settings and try the advanced things there if the normal things don't work. When you're done, close any tabs that have the problem site open, open a new tab, goto the URL
opera://settings/siteData
, type the domain for the problem site in the search-cookies field, and click "remove all shown". Then, open up a new tab and goto the site to see if things are then fine. -

I absolutely Hate what Dark Mode does to YouTube. I Need dark mode for photophobia, but there's no reason that it should mess up youtube videos. I frequently take screencaps of youtube videos and this is screwing it up. It's a deal breaker. Please make this stupid feature go away. Dark mode shouldn't add anything visually to the page... just make it dark. I don't know why we even need to be having this conversation. This is a unwanted and superfluous feature of Dark Mode. Make it go away.

@davebjornrapp As said, disable Force Dark Pages on YouTube and use its own dark theme.
You can also try messing with opera://flags/#enable-force-dark

The non-image flag is so great. They should make it default. And one day even let us choose the flag per-website

@atlaswinters
Be sure to clear out all browser caches and set any opera://flags/#enable-force-dark options back to there defaults. -

I have tried turning off force dark mode and other things, reinstalling the browser, refreshing the page, and so i checked the app and other browsers and its perfectly fine, i would like a simple way on how to fix this -

Try changing the adjustments for for dark mode to see if any of those options mentioned in the first post changes anything.
