@bestcodes: much appreciated. Will it work like vee vee ? because vee vee could download DRM protected videos uploaded by HLS method and that too in mp4 format. and also please let me know if you put it on Microsoft edge addons. thanks.

@justahuman957 It will only be able to download video recourses as how they currently are, VeeVee was really cool, but I don't think I can add that feature in mine until later. Mine also doesn't do YouTube yet.
Right now the extension is only available in Beta and Dev channels, but I am working on a lot of VeeVee's features.

@veevee: thank you so much. It's such a relief to hear an official reply. Please pay attention to the extension on Microsoft edge too. vee vee extension is the best. It's so difficult to do things without it. much appreciated. Eagerly waiting for the fix

got automatically deleted when i updated opera now shows me an error while downloading :
An error occurred when installing the extension: Package is invalid. Details: 'Invalid value for 'content_scripts[0].exclude_matches[0]': Invalid host.'.

I just ( in fact about 18,00 cet) installed and used the improved extension, so it works. Everyone should look good to have the correct version.

it's working again. thank you so much @veevee @veeveevideodownloader @veeveedownloader . The extension is the best of all the extensions. But if i may request a feature that after clicking on the download button the file can be renamed and then downloaded.
