I installed this downloader app and it brought my opera to a crawl and now I have to figure out how to uninstall it and remove whatever malware it downloaded. Def not worth the download and now I regret downloading it.

I have not been able to install - 'ERRO' and 'Invalid value for 'content_scripts[0].exclude_matches[0]': Invalid host.'. are what I've got. Any help, please?

@opera-comments-bot It does not work anymore. I sent a help-message a few daus ago but no response. Are they too busy to respond? Don't they simply care?

This is an awesome extension! But of recent I get this error:
@veeveedownloader Can you find the issue and fix it please? I believe it is in the extension manifest.Also, it would be nice if I could download all the files in the queue as a zip, instead of each individually. Thanks!

@autorefresh in Opera 105 stable running on Ubuntu 23.10, and on the Chrome web store, too. There is an error in the extension manifest.

@bestcodes: the same is happening in all other browsers, have tried everything like modifying the .json file and still not working. I have also tested it in edge, brave, Vivaldi, chrome, firefox...
i used to download HLS videos using this extension and now with this gone nothing is working...
have you found any alternate ? -

@veeveedownloader please fix and update this extension on Microsoft edge as well. the last time you updated this extension was in 2022. The extension is showing "invalid manifest" error while trying to install.

@bestcodes: much appreciated. Will it work like vee vee ? because vee vee could download DRM protected videos uploaded by HLS method and that too in mp4 format. and also please let me know if you put it on Microsoft edge addons. thanks.

@justahuman957 It will only be able to download video recourses as how they currently are, VeeVee was really cool, but I don't think I can add that feature in mine until later. Mine also doesn't do YouTube yet.
Right now the extension is only available in Beta and Dev channels, but I am working on a lot of VeeVee's features.

@veevee: thank you so much. It's such a relief to hear an official reply. Please pay attention to the extension on Microsoft edge too. vee vee extension is the best. It's so difficult to do things without it. much appreciated. Eagerly waiting for the fix
