There is another way of having Google Translate on the sidebar (without installing another addon)

1. Type: opera://flags on the address bar
2. Search "Custom user sites for browser sidebar" (no quotes)
3. At the "Custom user sites for browser sidebar", click the dropdown and click "enable"
4. Click "Relaunch"
5. Open "sidebar setup" on the sidebar
6. Scroll down and find "Custom site panels", click add
7. Type https://translate.google.com"
8. Your Welcome
