Whatsapp: prompt to download app

When I open the in-built Whatsapp from the sidebar, the opening page now encourages me to download the Whatsapp app for Windows, and gives a link to the Microsoft Store. Is the in-built version coming to an end ?

@dcscotland WhatsApp in sidebar is just WhatsApp Web.

Yes, but Opera say "WhatsApp web messenger is built right into the Opera desktop browser, so you can chat and browse easily without downloading anything". Now it is encouraging me to download the app. A link to Microsoft Store now also appears amongst my list of contacts,

@dcscotland It's just the same page you use in a regular tab or in other browsers put on the sidebar panel.
