Can I download opera to a thumbdrive

I have a laptop with xp operating system. I cannot get on the internet with it now because the Chrome browser won't work.
Can I download opera to a thumb drive with another computer and then install it on the laptop that has xp?

@wilmath You need to download Opera 36. Since it's too old, you probably won't be able to access many sites.

Yes. Download the Opera 36 installer to a thumb drive and run the installer on WinXP. As said though, even when doing that, a lot of sites might not load due to WinXP's networking (and Opera 36 itself) lacking certain security protocol versions and encryption methods that sites now require.
