Right click in Opera GX not working properly

Ever since the last update of Opera GX, there is a weird glitch when trying to right-click on links. Whenever I do, it automatically clicks the closest right-click option, rather than allowing me to move my cursor to whatever option I want (in almost all cases, open in new tab). I can try to provide a screen grab if needed.

I have the same problem since today with a new update. It's really annoying...

@gleefullygloomy Same here, it's somewhat random? Sometimes it takes 5 clicks to get the right-click popup, sometimes it automatically clicks closest, sometimes it works with no issue? I wonder if perhaps the mouse itself is also a variable? I'm using an Apple Magic Mouse. What about you? I know Apple has their own way of how hardware interacts with Macs.

I don't think it is a mouse problem. I've used different ones. Including trackpad from my Macbook Pro. It somehow has to do with positioning on the screen. I'va also changed monitors and resolution and still happens. The option I get me most is save as or enter fullscreen and it does enter without me even clicking in it.
The only variable I see is that my Macbook pro is a bit outdated. I might change browser soon. -

This is happening to me too. I'm also using a Mac trackpad on a fairly new M1 mac so I don't think age has to do with it. Very frustrating when it automatically clicks to open in a new window.
Edit: Adding a gif of the issue. You can see the link gets copied, but I'm only ever clicking once each time. I paste the link into the search bar at the end. https://imgur.com/a/7SIZB5k

Bumping this. I like the other features of the browser, but this is infuriating!!

Both new and older Macs do it for me.
The only workaround I know of is to right-click and then keep your mouse/clickpad depressed, while sliding down to the option you're looking for, so it doesn't register your mouse-up before you're ready.
Very awks.

@kelliebeanz Any extensions? Does the issue occur in a private window?

It seems to have resolved for me over the past few updates. Are you on the latest version, @Kelliebeanz ?
