Lots of extra space at top of speed dial

I notice that with the new Opera 98 version there is a lot of unused extra space above all of the speed dials. Is it possible to reduce this? If not, I would like to suggest changing it so there is not so much unused space above the speed dials.
It would be nice to be able to get rid of the feedback smiley as well.

Absolutely agree, it's even worse with scaled up tiles i.e. 200% scale pushes it down so the text at bottom line is out of screen while there's a whole tile-sized empty space at the top.
I turned on "Use bigger tiles" option in settings and turned scale down to 150% which helped a bit, but overall, this whole empty space business is weird.

As for getting rid of the feedback smiley, it may depend on the specific version and settings of Opera you are using. You can try going to the settings and looking for an option to disable the feedback smiley, or check if there is an extension that can remove it.

@johncaltin No, this extra space wasn't there before last update so your response doesn't really make sense.
I don't understand this, why add this extra useless space?? -
