@waffleguy520 Go to opera://settings/wallpapers (copy it to address bar), click on the Add your wallpaper (or something like that) button, select the file you want to upload, click on open. Simple as that.

@kazbodnar Just click on the thumbnail of the wallpaper you want to use.

@kazbodnar If you added the zip file, Opera should just switch to that wallpaper. But, if not, goto the end of the wallpaper thumbnail list to see if the wallpaper you added is there and select it.

@burnout426 I'm a mac os user and I'm unable to get the the file folder for themes. Finder is also saying webm isn't supported when I try to add my own theme via the easy setup menu. Is there a way around this? I've already tried searching for the directory in Terminal...

@divinedivinity ZIP folder is also showing as an unsupported type when I try to upload it through the add your own wallpaper section

@divinedivinity You probably have to show hidden files in finder to see the profile folder (path at the URL opera://about) and everything in it.

@divinedivinity On Windows at least, there's a file type filter drop-down in the open dialog where you can switch the filter to show zip files.

opera could have made it very simple. just add the mp4 and that's it! i don't feel like playing around with their kinks.
