Why do videos all play at start-up?

Lately, whenever I start up Opera, every video in every front tab of previously open windows begins playing! This is a big, noisy, confusing mess, and most other browsers have figured out how to prevent that, is there some setting I've overlooked, to prevent this from happening?

@stevenjcee You probably need to use an extension to prevent media auto-play.

@leocg Really? I need to find a separate app just so all videos won't play at start-up? I'd think Opera's developers should be able to do that, as other browsers have done...

@stevenjcee Which ones? In most browsers the videos play automatically.

@leocg I'll have to pay attention when I open them, but I don't recall having this happen when I open any of them, Safari, Firefox, Brave, etc. But as I open them, I'll make note if it happens with another browser, and let you know...
