Speed dial shows number in brackets

What's the meaning of this (5) and (357) on my speed dial?
There are actually 2 notifications in the (5) link, which I responded to, but it remained as 5, even after refreshing with F5. There are 199 + 134 notifications in Quora, yet Opera adds that up to 357?

Opera doesn't retrieve any unread count or anything like that. It just shows the title of the page in the state it was when you added the page as a speed dial. So, whatever count the page showed in the title at the time of adding the speed dial is what Opera will show. Refreshing the start page won't load a speed dial's page from the server to fetch its current title and update the speed dials title/name for you.
